MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka library wrapped up its annual quilt show Saturday, drawing crowds from across the community to view more than 50 quilts on display.
The three-day event allowed visitors to vote for their favorite designs, with a special quilt donated each year to benefit a local charity through fundraising efforts.
This year, the guild partnered with area nursing homes to encourage attendance, resulting in increased participation from residents.
Organizers said the show highlights both the artistic value of quilting and the sense of community fostered through public art.
