We get one nice buffer day in between snow events. Enjoy the nice sunshine today and highs in the low 30s before the next round of snow moves in late this evening. Snow picks up through tonight as the system moves through Michiana. The initial snowfall will coat everyone with 1-3” of snow. Lake effect snow quickly develops as the system pulls away, dropping another 1-3” for some while areas in Berrien, LaPorte and St. Joseph could see 6-9” by late Saturday. Roads will likely be slick in spots with blowing/drifting snow further reducing visibility at times.
The snow tapers off Saturday night and is much nicer by Sunday. We wrap up the weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 30s. More snow is expected on Monday and Tuesday as the winter weather is in full swing.
Today: Mostly to partly sunny, snow late, high of 32.
Tonight: Snowy, low 25.
Saturday: Snowy, high of 30.
Sunday: Partly cloudy, highs in the low 30s.
