Apple stock drops below $500

Apple's stock is continuing to see a downturn.
Its share price has dipped below the $500 mark.
Over the weekend, published reports suggested Apple was forced to cut component orders for its iPhone 5 due to a slump in demand.
Apple shares closed the day down about 16 percent.
