SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Rebuilding Together St. Joseph County is accepting applications for a free home repair program for eligible homeowners. 

Repairs vary on the home, but may include work on roof and gutters, water heater, plumbing, electrical and small handyman repairs. 

Priority is given to the senior citizens, veterans or homeowners living with disabilities, with all repair costs covered. 

Rebuilding Together SJC will be focusing on residents living within Southeast and Erskine Park neighborhoods and within the following boundaries:

• West: S Michigan St
• North: Broadway/Lincolnway East
• East: Ironwood Dr (if North of Ewing) / Miami St (if South of Ewing Ave)
• South: Ewing Ave (for Southeast) and Donmoyer Ave (for Erskine Park)

Homeowners outside of these boundaries will not be considered.

After applications are accepted, repairs will be made in April 2024. 

An information meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 5:00 p.m. at the One Roof Southeast Neighborhood Center.
