Applications now open for Goshen's Arts on the Millrace celebration
GOSHEN, Ind. -- Applications are currently being accepted for Goshen’s ninth annual fine arts festival until Sunday, July 31.
Artists interested in applying to exhibit their work must submit an online application at the event’s website.
The application fee is $50 for individual applications and $100 for groups. Teen artists have no fee to apply.
Though this does not guarantee a spot, there is no additional charge for booth space if accepted.
Hosted by Goshen Arts & Events, Arts on the Millrace will display an array of regional art on Saturday, September 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival will be held alongside Goshen’s Millrace Canal starting at Powerhouse Park (46526 W Washington St).
“Fine art is never more fun than at Arts on the Millrace,” said Director of Events, Adrienne Nesbitt. “It’s a curated event where the community can connect with – and shop – master artists, but in a casual, family-friendly, outdoor setting. And there’s food, too – what’s not to love?."
In addition to fine arts, Hoosiers can enjoy food vendors, live music, and activities for children.
Artists of all mediums are encouraged to apply. The Arts on the Millrace Committee will evaluate the selected works and grant awards for Best in Show, People’s Choice, Jake Loewen Craftsmanship, and Best Tent Aesthetic.
