April 15: Candidates for Indiana House Districts 6 and 7

Local candidates who are running for Indiana House Districts 6 and 7 were invited to make a statement at a public forum hosted by the American Democracy Project and the League of Women Voters.

On Friday, we have statements from two Democrats - Maureen Bauer, and Ross Deal  - who are hoping to become the next representatives in Districts 6 and 7, respectively. [Story continues below the video]

Forum organizers also extended the invitation to the Republican candidates for District 7- Timothy Jaycox, Jake Teshka and Sarina Williams, but they did not attend the forum.

No Republicans are running in District 6.

Indiana’s primary election is May 3.
