Argos man dies in crash on U.S. 31, State Road 10
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - An Argos man died in a crash on U.S. 31 and State Road 10 Tuesday morning, according to Indiana State Police.
At 10:56 a.m., state troopers were called to the area, in Argos, for a serious crash.
According to the investigation, a black 2022 Mitsubishi, driven by the Argos man, was traveling east on S.R. 10 and failed to yield to northbound traffic on U.S. 31.
The Mitsubishi was hit on the passenger side by a white 2017 Freightliner traveling north, reports said.
The driver of the Mitsubishi was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
The right lane of northbound U.S. 31 is restricted while emergency crews remove the vehicles involved.
The left northbound lane is still open.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash, according to state police.
