Armed robbery at Family Dollar on city's west side

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Family Dollar on the city's west side was robbed Friday evening.
The armed robbery was reported right after 6 p.m. at 4850 West Western Avenue.
We contacted an employee at the Family Dollar who said that everyone was okay.
The suspect was described as a black male.
No suspects have been taken into police custody.
