Armed robbery at Rolling Prairie restaurant, The Blacksmith Shop

The Blacksmith Shop restaurant in Rolling Prairie, IN was the target of an armed robbery Saturday afternoon. 

According to the LaPorte County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the shop at 10 N Depot St at 12:30 p.m. 

Deputies report that a white male entered the restaurant through a side door, then displayed a handgun forcing people to the floor. The suspect took cash from the register then left through the same door. 

No one was hurt in the incident. 

A description from the LaPorte County Sheriff lists the suspect as "In his late 20''s or early 30's, approximately 6'2" and a bigger build, wearing a black hoodie, camouflage scarf that was covering his face, gray pants and black gloves."
