Armed robbery reported at ice cream shop

Elkhart Police responded to the La Michoacana Ice Cream Shop Tuesday evening to investigate an armed robbery.

Employees told police three suspects entered the business and demanded money.

One of the suspects had a handgun and pointed it at an employee.

During the robbery, a vehicle pulled into the parking lot and the suspects left without taking anything.

Police say the suspects were described as black males in their late teens or early twenties.
