ROCHESTER, Ind. – Late on March 13 the Rochester Police Department was informed of an armed robbery at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store on Main Street. During the investigation another tip came in indicating another robbery in Knox.
According to victim interviews and on scene investigation, officers were told there were two male suspects that were both armed.
In the same night another auto parts store was robbed in Knox and the description of the suspects and robbery method given to officers matched the one that happened in Rochester.
A traffic stop happened in Pulaski County later that night that officers believe to be the suspects in the armed robberies.
As of yet no details have been released about the suspects and the investigation remains ongoing.
