Army National Guard troops return home to Michigan

HOWELL, Mich. -- Home for Christmas. More than 150 members of the Michigan Army National Guard are back home.

After fighting overseas for Operation Enduring Freedom the 1462nd Transportation Company came back to Michigan Sunday.

They were greeted by a special homecoming crowd. Friends and loved ones lined the streets with signs waiting for their troops to arrive.

The soldiers were deployed for nearly a year on assignment in Kuwait and Afghanistan.
