Art Beat takes over downtown

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Arts took over the streets of South Bend this morning.

Thousands of folks came to the city with one thing in mind.

Good art deals!

And they found them! As vendors from all across Michiana put their work up on display.

You could find everything from home-made jewelry to paintings.

We talked to one family who's happy to see "Art Beat" take over downtown.

"The downtown's starting to pick up quite a bit and I think this is one of the activities that kinda highlights what's going on downtown," said Jeff Olsen.

The event was designed to get more people to make their way to downtown businesses.
