At least one dead after head on crash in North Liberty

NORTH LIBERTY, Ind. - One person is dead after a head on crash on State Road 23 near Crumstown Highway.
Police said a white car was heading northbound on State Road 23 when it was trying to pass another vehicle. The driver didn't see an oncoming black vehicle heading southbound and they collided.
One person is confirmed dead, and our reporter on the scene said as of 11:30 p.m. one person was still being cut out of a vehicle.
MedFlight was on the scene and left towards South Bend, but we could not confirm if anyone was inside of it.
