South Bend house fire possibly caused by lightning
DETROIT, Mich. – Detroit Police are investigating a delivery driver that shot and killed a man that was allegedly robbing him at his stop.
According to the driver, two suspects tried to steal meat from his delivery truck.
At the Detroit business, three trucks were dropping off an order when a worker saw two men allegedly removing items from the trucks.
An altercation occurred when the men were confronted. And the driver allegedly pulled out his gun and opened fire.
One of the suspects died at the scene and the other was able to get away.
"He said somebody reached for a weapon. We don’t know if it was the individual who was fatally shot or if it was the dude who fled. But the owner fired one shot.” Assistant Chief Arnold Williams, Detroit PD said.
