Au Bon Pain coming to Notre Dame campus
NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame students, faculty and visitors will soon have another option wen ti comes to grabbing food on the run.
Au Bon Pain is coming to the Hesburgh Library.
The cafe will the be restaurant's first Indiana location outside of Indianapolis.
Administrators say they wanted a healthy alternative for visitors and students that stop at the library.
"The building is now open 24 hours, five days a week. We expect that students are going to be here long hours right after Thanksgiving," Diane Walker said. "It will be great for them to have an Au Bon Pain facility here to fuel their work while they're studying."
Au Bon Pain is the parent company for Panera Bread.
The new cafe is set to open in Early November, hopefully just in time for the last home football game.
