ELKHART, Ind.— The Elkhart Parks and recreation and Minority Health Coalition of the County are teaming up to help students Saturday, August 8.
They are holding a backpack giveaway at the Tolson Center starting at 10 a.m. drive-thru style.
The backpacks will be filled with school supplies.
It will be first come first basis and a child must be present to receive a backpack.
