Crafters in crisis after Joann Fabrics and Crafts announces closures
Hot and dry weather midweek, will continue to make drought conditions worse, and highs near 90 degrees. The end of the week is milder and the chance of rain increases through the weekend. There is a slight chance of rain Friday, the best chance of rain is Monday. Total rainfall however may only be a quarter to a half inch, helpful but far from enough to make a major dent in the drought.
This week will be an excellent week for the beach and pool, with good swimming conditions. Air quality is a minor concern with some smoke and ozone lingering under stagnant conditions.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 62.
Tuesday: Sunny. High 90.
Wednesday: Sunny. High 90.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 86.
