Barnes and Noble is going to cut prices on its Nook tablet.
This price drop is ahead of its reported update to its devices.
On Sunday, the retailer announced a $50 drop to its 16GB version and a $20 drop to other versions.
The Nook is a part of an increasingly competitive field of mobile and digital devices that includes Amazon's Kindle Fire and the iPad.
