Baseball academy sessions available with the South Bend Cubs

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Registration is now open for the 2022 Meijer Baseball Academy that will give kids an opportunity to practice and learn from South Bend Cubs baseball players and coaches.

Two separate three-day camps will be hosted at Four Winds Field for kids between the ages of six and 12.

The first camp will be hosted on July 6-8 and the second camp will be hosted on July 27-29.

In order to provide proper instruction to each participant, both academy sessions are capped at 80 kids.

“Last year we sold out the Meijer camp and this year we’re really excited to be hosting two camps. It’s great because the campers not only have a blast but they improve their skills on the field, and the players just love being out there with them. It’s one of their favorite parts of the year,” said Chris Hagstrom-Jones, South Bend Cubs Assistant General Manager for Marketing and Media.
