Bayer recalls some Alka-Seltzer Plus products

Bayer has issued a voluntary recall for some Alka-Seltzer Plus packages because the ingredients on the sticker may not reflect the product in the box.

The packages subject to the recall are Alka-Seltzer Plus packages purchased after February 9, 2018 and have a Bayer logo with an orange or green background in the lower left corner.

The products were sold in the US at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Kroger.

Because the ingredients in the package may not be the same as those listed, consumers could be exposed to a product they are allergic to, or may ingest a product that is contraindicated for their medical condition, or have other serious consequences.

Consumers who purchased packages of Alka-Seltzer Plus that are being recalled should stop using the product and contact Bayer with questions, to report any issues experienced or for instructions about how to receive a refund.

Please call Bayer Consumer Relations at: 1-800-986-0369 (available Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET).
