BBQ ends in flames

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Clay Fire Department responded to a call on Meadow Knolls Drive at 6:00 p.m.
The fire started in the backyard when the homeowner left hot coals in a warm container on top of a plastic tub.
By the time the fire crews arrived, the back of the house was in flames and the fire was working its way into the attic
The homeowner, her guests, and her two dogs made it out safely.
Fire officials are further investigating the cause of the fire.
