Be prepared for snow as the seasons change
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- As Spring slowly approaches, places like Home Depot stock up on everything from weed wackers to shovels.
Home Depot employees say with the sporadic snow storms, it is important to always be prepared.
"This time of year you have to be ready for anything; warmth, rain, snow, sleet," explained Home Depot employee Keith McGrew.
Salespersons that have sold home goods for a long time say that once people experience a few sunny days at the end of February or early March they tend to want to start shopping for Spring and Summer items.
But then another snow storm moves in and it's back to reality.
Experts say that while the seasons are changing, the best thing to do is keep a bag of salt and a shovel in your car to make sure you never get caught in the snow.
