GRANGER, Ind. – Construction of the Beacon Granger Hospital was completed on Friday, and an event was held to celebrate the new hospital’s opening. There was also a media tour of the facility.
During the ceremony, officials from the hospital said that they will hire 50 people and the facility will provide cat scans, x-rays and various laboratory services.
The hospital will also hire emergency physicians.
“We are very proud to bring our services to the Granger-Mishawaka communities and the surrounding areas,” The medical director for Beacon Granger Hospital said. “We have been staffing our group for over 40 years at the downtown memorial location and so we’re proud to bring those safe physicians and quality to this area.”
The new Granger Beacon Hospital will officially open next week.
