Beaten Detroit toddler dies

DETROIT -- The Michigan toddler who was beaten, allegedly by his mom's boyfriend, has died.
The family of 2-year-old Damian Sutton told our affiliate WXYZ in Detroit doctors took him off life support Tuesday morning.
He had been in a medically induced coma for nearly a week.
The mother's 26-year-old boyfriend is in jail charged with child abuse. Those charges may now change to murder.
