SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- A few hundred folks came to remember a man who's life was cut to short because of a fatal car accident.
Back in June 29 year old Andy Richmond was putting gas in his car on I-70in Indianapolis when another vehicle crossed over the line and killed him.
"He was filling up his gas tank and a semi swerved across the line and smacked him," said Doniell Richmond, his wife.
The family was at the Elks Lodge today holding a car wash and benefit in Richmond's memory.
They need to raise ten thousand dollars to offset funeral costs.
