BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - Candi Purdiman, author and Benton Harbor native, stopped by ABC57 News to talk about her books, which help families discuss difficult topics with their children.
A 20-year cancer survivor, Purdiman said she knew she wanted to help kids face challenges the way she was helped while going through treatment.
Her books cover topics like grief and prayer.
