BENTON HARBOR -- The Benton Harbor City Commission on Monday approved a resolution adopting an amended brownfield plan for the former ship canal project site.
The 0.2-acre site, located on West Main Street, is slated for new apartment development.
Commissioners also authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with CPM Construction for renovations at the BOBO Brazil Community Center.
In another action, the commission removed from its agenda a resolution that would have adopted an ordinance to regulate business hours and prohibit retail businesses from staying open late.
