Benton Harbor Red Cross volunteer aiding Eastern Coast

BENTON HARBOR, Ind. People out east are still trying to clean up, after Tropical Storm Lee caused major flooding.


Several homes in Eastern Pennsylvania collapsed. This after heavy rains saturated the ground. Volunteers from across the country, and even here in Michana are doing what they can to help. A Benton Harbor man, Jerry Sirk is leading a group of Red Cross workers.Sirk says, the conditions are clearing up just enough to get aid in.


This is Sirk's 35th disaster. He has not been home since he was deployed to the east coast, August 25th for Hurricane Irene.
