A federal judge dismissed the sexual harassment lawsuit against the Berrien County Jail and three of its former corrections officers.
Brittany Stanage, a former inmate, filed the lawsuit along with ten other women.
She claimed a former officer at the Berrien County Jail tried to coerce her into having sex.
Attorneys for the defendants argued the 3-year statute of limitations had expired and that the women's civil rights were not violated.
On Thursday, a federal judge in Kalamazoo agreed and dismissed the suit.
The women are considering an appeal.
