Deputies asking for help identifying armed robbery suspect

ROYALTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying the person responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station Sunday evening.

The incident happened at the BP Gas Station located at 4297 Niles Road in Royalton Township at 9:37 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches in height with a medium build and wearing dark pants and a hoodie carrying a pistol.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.

Agencies involved include the Berrien County Patrol, Berrien County Detective Bureau, Michigan State Police, St. Joseph Police and the St. Joseph Township Police.
