Berrien County teen in hospital after tubing accident

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — A 17-year-old is in the hospital after being injured while tubing.
The incident happened Saturday night on Bethany Beach in Berrien County.
He was struck by the propeller while he was trying to climb back onto the boat.
The boy was transported to the hospital for treatment to his lower leg, but emergency surgery was not necessary.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
