Berrien Springs ATM thief caught, in police custody

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- A man wanted for stealing thousands of dollars from a Berrien Spring ATM is in police custody.

John Crabtree, was arrested by FBI agents Tuesday night in Jacksonville, Florida. Crabtree is currently being extradited back to Michigan.

In August, police say he stole several thousand dollars from an ATM at the Express Mart Phillips 66 station.

Investigators believe Crabtree hit ATM’s across several states. They say he had an access code for the machines.
