Berrien Springs vs. Dowagiac H.S. playoff football forecast

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- Tonight, the Berrien Springs Shamrocks host the Dowagiac Chieftains at Sylvester Stadium in the first round of the Michigan H.S. football playoffs. 

The Shamrocks are 5-0 against the Chieftains (including a 21-0 win this season) in the regular season and postseason combined since 2022, looking to extend that record to 6-0 later this evening.

Dowagiac lost to Berrien Springs last year in the first round of playoffs and are hoping to avoid that same fate starting at seven P.M tonight.

The Chieftains have not won a playoff game since 2016 against Buchanan.

Expected temperature at kickoff in Berrien Springs is 48 degrees with a light wind out of the northwest.
