ELKHART, Ind. -- A shark tank style approach for students in Elkhart County, as they compete in 'Best of the Zest".
The contest saw students not only bringing in a gallon of lemonade but also giving their best pitch on their idea of a lemonade business.
This event giving students a fun way to challenge themselves all while learning about entrepreneurship.
"Today is all about lemonade day, which is happening on June 7, all across Elkhart County. And today, kids were invited to come and pitch their lemonade day ideas for shark tank, and then we also had our best of the zest to where they could bring in a gallon of their lemonade and have the judges try it," stated Co City Director for Lemonade Day Kelle Newcomer.
The 'Best of Zest' providing a crucial step for exposure for the students as Lemonade Day approaches quickly.
