BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- BH Awning & Tent Company in Benton Harbor is celebrating 100 years in business.

In addition to surviving the COVID-19 pandemic, BH Awning & Tent survived the Great Depression of the late 1920s.

Ownership has not changed hands very much over the company's 100-year history, and the current owner and general manager hopes the next generation that takes over can leave a lasting legacy.
