Bicyclist hit in Elkhart Co.

A bicyclist was hit by a car early Wednesday morning in Elkhart County.

It  happened around 4:45 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 20 and Charlotte Avenue.

The bicycle did not have any lights on it and was struck by the car as it switched lanes.

The bicyclist was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for head trauma and complaints of leg pains.
