Biggby Coffee brings bigger buzz to Eddy Street Commons

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Hey, coffee lovers! There's a new place to get your java fix in South Bend!

On Tuesday, Biggby Coffee opened at Eddy Street Commons.

It's a popular Midwest coffee chain, but this is the first store in Indiana.

The owners told us they wanted to branch out and Eddy Street Commons seemed like a good fit!

"We thought Eddy Commons was a great area, just because it's unique. And we just thought this would be a great addition,” said Lisa Russell, the Owner of Biggby Coffee.

"All the Biggbys are always really bright and inviting and the people are really nice. The baristas get it done,” said Lindsey Candey, a woman who likes the new coffee house.

There could soon be another Biggby Coffee in Michiana. The owner is thinking about opening up one in Elkhart.
