Biker breaks several bones in Western Avenue crash

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A biker is nursing some painful injuries from a motorcycle crash in South Bend.
Police said he was headed west down Western when he hit a car at Meade Street.
It happened right around 5 p.m. on Friday.
The man was not wearing a helmet.
Witnesses said he broke several bones, but is expected to be okay.
