Black bear naps on Florida lanai

NAPLES, Fla. -- Just where does a 200- pound bear go to take a nap? Anywhere it wants to.
A babysitter at a home in the Olde Cypress community in Naples, Florida was shocked to find a large black bear stretched out on the lanai sound asleep.
It happened around lunchtime Wednesday while the mother was out to lunch.
The residents hid inside a bedroom when they saw the bear.
The homeowner says the bear tore a hole in the screen door to get into the lanai.
It's not the only brazen bear around. Several others have been spotted in the Naples area leading authorities to warn homeowners to be on guard.
