SOUTH BEND, Ind.— Black Lives Matter South Bend took to the streets this New Year's Day to protest the inauguration of Mayor James Mueller and the South Bend Common Council in hopes of making their voices heard by the newly sworn-in officials and to demand the adoption of their “Black People’s Budget” that can be viewed below:
