Blackthorn Golf Club sale approved

The sale of South Bend's Blackthorn Golf Club was approved Thursday morning. Two Michiana partners are taking over the property, and they have big plans in store for the space.
They plan to build a hotel or lodging facility on those 11 acres.
Early next month, the deal should be finalized with the banks involved, and the upgrades will begin to take shape.
