NILES, Mich. – A body was found in the St. Joseph River on Saturday.
Michigan State Police are investigating a body that was found around 11:00 a.m. by two local fisherman in Bertrand Twp.
The body of what officials believe to be a middle-aged white male, was recovered from the scene.
The man has not yet been identified.
The Berrien County Sheriff Department Marine Division and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources assisted with the recovery of the body.
Officials are continuing their investigations after no leads were announced.
