Body found near Brownfield Park in South Bend

South Bend Police received a call reporting that a body was found Friday night.

The call came in around 10:15 p.m.

The body was found at 1038 Yukon Street which is near Brownfield Park on the northwest side of South Bend.

South Bend Police tweeted around 10:44 p.m that they began investigating the situation.

The Metro Homicide Unit also arrived on scene to help with the investigation.
