Bones discovered on bridge in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Bones were discovered on a footbridge in Goshen Friday afternoon.

At approximately 2:10 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 800 block of West Wilden Avenue regarding bones discovered on a nearby footbridge.

The bones were collected.

On Monday, the coroner's office announced it had examined the bones and determined they were animal bones.

The bones are likely bovine - from a cow or steer.
