MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The treasured local business, Bonnie Doon Drive-In, has officially reopened for spring.
The drive-in opened its doors to the public on Wednesday for their 2019 season.
The popular Mishawaka spot on Lincolnway West has been running for 81 years.
Some of the most popular food items are the Bonnie Burger, the choco mint soda, and lemon custard ice cream.
The owner said he’s happy to see familiar faces back at the diner.
“Just seeing all the familiar faces come back and support us. All the local people that come in and there’s a lot of people that come in from other areas. We have a pretty strong following of people,” the owner, Adam Carroll said.
The business is open 7 days a week and the car hops will be open starting in April.
