Boys & Girls Clubs opening e-learning site for middle and high school students

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County will be opening an e-learning program for students in grades 6 through 12.

Beginning Dec. 3, students will receive assistance with technology and internet access, as well as supervision and help with virtual learning assignments.

Boys & Girls Club programming will also be woven into students’ virtual learning schedules and will coincide with their school curriculum.

A breakfast and hot lunch will be provided to students each day.

The center will be open for e-learning assistance at the OC Carmichael Jr. Youth Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

This program will follow the school calendar of the South Bend Community School Corporation.

Families will be asked to pay $25 each week per child participating in the program.

Scholarships are available for those who cannot pay the full cost.
