NILES, Mich. - The Brandywine Bobcats hosted their first and only home wrestling meet of the season on Thursday, meaning it also doubled as Senior Night.
However, there was only one senior to be recognized this year - Searra Inman.
Inman was involved in a motorcycle accident this past July, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Still, she made a goal to finish her senior year with the wrestling team. She returned for the very first meet of the season and has continued all the way through this week, now just three wins shy of her goal to become Brandywine's first female wrestler to reach 100 career wins.
Hear from Searra, her coach, and her mother in the video above!
