Bras being showcased around the Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- During Breast Cancer Awareness Month many people throughout Michiana will take time to reflect on those who have suffered from the disease.
On Thursday, dozens of decorated brassieres will be on display for the “Bras Around the Bend” event. It will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Le Peep Café in downtown South Bend.
Next Saturday, the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event will be held at Howard Park in South Bend.
Registration starts bright and early at 8 a.m. The 3-mile walk steps off at 9:30 a.m.
