Breadsmith’s South Bend location has closed, according to company’s website

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—According to the company’s website, the South Bend Breadsmith location has closed.

A notice posted to the website for the South Bend location reads “We’re sorry. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Breadsmith of South Bend is currently closed. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

It is unclear if the closure will be permanent or temporary.

The bakery is located on South Bend Avenue and according to the website, offers artisan breads and sweets.

A marketing manager at the corporate Breadsmith office said in an email on Tuesday that the closure was abrupt and the company is "still evaluating the situation."
